Andrew Nacin, a core developer for WordPress has made a great little pluign 1 that allows you to create footnotes in your posts. It is pretty handy. I have too many times when I write shit inside of paragraphs, (it is a compulsion of mine) because I have too much crap going on inside my head. But now I can just use those sweet little footnotes. 2
