Are you making these 5 mistakes when setting up your squeeze page? I hope not, because if you are, you may be sending your prospects away running! I’ll bet you are probably doing at least one of these.Is It Simple?

Or better yet, is your call to action clear and defined? If they don’t know exactly what to do, they are not going to do it and are certainly not going to try to figure it out. What you need to do is make it perfectly clear what you want them to do and support that with headlines, bullet points, images and so on.
Are you putting too much on your squeeze page? Do they have to scroll down to see your opt in box? Or better yet, are they scrolling down at all? Keep everything easy to read, easy to see, and above the fold. If you cannot get your message across without scrolling, you are doing it wrong.
If they are, you have failed. You should give a clear, no questions, no spam statement in your squeeze page right below where they opt in. You should also have a privacy policy for them to read as well. A simple link will do, but it needs to be there.
Many people do not want to view a salesy video, (contrary to what EVERY marketer tries to tell you). If you are using video, keep it short and sweet. Tell them exactly what they get. Keep it under a minute if you can. It is difficult, you bet. Is it necessary, you bet.
