Nikic talks about how PHP programmers have embraced the likes of OO in full swing and don't dare go back to the world of procedural programming.  While it has it's places, I have to say that OO is usually always one of the best ways to avoid conflicts, create more flexibility, and have overall better code structure.  His points are valid and it is worth a read...
