I took a small hiatus from working on my open source work, but I am back now. These two plugins were neglected, so I will be resuming work on them. Advanced headers’ 1.1 features are finalized, they just need to be mapped and coded. WP Optimizer is back in active development, but still needs finalizing of features and other such items.

I have recently updated my About and Portfolio page. I wanted to convey a more professional image.
What’s in store:
Right now, I am in the process of doing some big updates to my plugins. I am also developing some open source items as well. Be on the lookout for those.
Also, I will be turning down the freelancing for awhile while I pursue some full-time work with other companies. This will limit my schedule, so if you are looking to hire me, please be aware of of some limited delays. Things will not shut down completely, just slow down overall. This does NOT effect current projects I have. All of that will remain full steam until finished.
I will also begin branching out my website to start covering topics of CMS, Frameworks, and development. They will have articles, helpful guides, and videos to help people learn how to use these systems. That is coming later.
I will also be writing a series of books to help my fellow readers with a wide variety of topics. Now, you can find all kinds of great and interesting info in one handy source.
I am also going to be launching a new line of services soon, so stay tuned to that.

This is a new plugin set to secure, maintain, and optimize your WordPress blog with ease. It has a central interface to handle all your blog maintenance needs. It will include automatic checking a give scores based upon how well or poor your blog is, performance-wise. I will be releasing a development cycle, project schedule, and other things in the coming days. Stay tuned!
Now that WordPress has accepted the project into their repository and all commits are completed, I have added the project to Google Code’s Project Hosting for people to help use, work on, commit, submit bugs, add features, etc.
This makes it much easier for organization vs. reading through a bunch of comments on my blog.
With the coming of 3.0, there also came out one of the best themes I’ve seen for WordPress. That theme is twentyten. It is a great theme that allows you have a great theme and still personalize it and make it your own. It allows you to set custom background and headers. This gives it the personal touch.
One thing I’ve always wanted to do is show custom headers based upon which page a visitor was viewing. This was also possible through twentyten! But it requires a featured image, and that would get cumbersome after awhile.
So I set out and made a plugin that lets you set up custom headers based upon category. This way, you can set up a few or more, and it will take care of the rest.

A new plugin is on the horizon. It is called Easy Support. It is a WordPress ticket tracking system inside of WordPress. It allows for projects, user levels, assigning users, due dates and more. With minute levels of customization, you will have full control over how you handle your ticketing!
Front end posting, private ticketing, and more are just a taste of what’s in store. Stay tuned!
Working from the ground up, a new version of Cool Ryan Easy Popups is coming. I am adding new features as well as revamping some old features as well.
While this isn’t the final list, here is some of what’s coming:
I am revamping the backend also to make all of my plugins work together as one. So if you download one plugin, you can easily integrate it with other plugins as well!
You will also be able to easily migrate your old popup into the new system with a single button click.
