Named Isis, after the greek goddess of simplicity, Cool Ryan Easy Popups’ main focus is on ease of use from installation to implementation.
Troubleshooting Guide
You more than likely have a conflicting plugin that uses poor coding practices. They are manually inserting their JavaScript files instead of letting WordPress do it for them. When this happens, the plugin will break. Try deactivating all of your plugins and enabling them with Cool Ryan Easy Popups and see which ones conflict.
My plugin is set to a daily frequency and it shows up every time I load the page. Why?
If your blog resides on a subdomain (mysite.mydomain.com instead of www.mydomain.com) this has known to cause conflicts with cookies. There is no resolution at this time. Sorry.
Where Can I Get Support?
While this plugin is free to use and will always remain that way, no support is given with this plugin. You can always request premium support on the Services page. A standard per-hour charge applies.

I have installed it on 3.0.1 and dont see it.
Is this because of I’m logged into wp?
What are your plugin settings? Do you have the frequency timer above 0? If so, you need to clear your cookies and try it again.
does this plug-in work on wp 3.0.1?
I haven’t tested it yet, but I have checked the update and there should be no conflicts.
Yes it would be a nice feature. It’s such a grand looking popup display. Obviously I know what the normal usage of a popup is but I thought if one could click a link or graphic to activate the popup it could used as a message box or to display a FAQ page, etc. Please email me if you plan to add this as a feature. Thanks so much.
Will do. thanks!
Does not seem to display at all! Are you suppose to put a code or something please answer!
Do you have the setting to show on the home page, pages, or posts? Also, please submit a url so I can see and track down your problem. Thanks!
Hey Bro,
I tried this on one of my sites and couldn;t get it to configure right.
http://northdallaspaincenter.com/
in ie it shows bottom left
in firefox nothing
need delayed pop up settings too.
Let me know whats up
I do not have delayed popup settings yet. I will be putting that in a future version.
Also, I am not seeing my JS anywhere. Do you have settings enabled that allows for home page, pages, and posts? If not, that could be your problem. Also, if you have a page set as your home page, you need to enable pages to show the popup. Thanks!
I checked and it doesn’t seem like you have my plugin installed. Did you remove it?
Hey Ryan,
Haven’t tried the plugin yet, but I must say it looks quite awesome.
A quick question is there a way to have the popup activated by a user clicking on a text link or graphic? Was thinking about using it as a ”Click Here for More Info” type thing, this way the visitor would not have to leave the current page. Thanks.
I can do something like this in a future version if you would like.
Where is any demo?
No demo is currently available. I can get one together later though. Thanks for the suggestion.
Ryan,
The #1 feature that I would like added to this plugin, is the option to specify an exact Page or Post that this popup appears on. In other words, there are many instances where I only want a “discount” to appear after they have read the pitch. If the “discount” popup message appears on any old page, this would reduce the results dramatically.
Is this something that is possible to add?
Ben
This is something that can be added in future versions. Thanks for the input!
I have installed this on 2 different sites one 2.9 and one 3.o WP neither seem to work.
HELP
What is your website name? Did you download it a week ago? I had a bug that I fixed. Let me know so I can find out the problem for you.
Are there any other instructions? I’m having trouble with the width/height boxes. Are they in pixels? Also, it would be nice if there were a way to check to see what it looks like before publishing. I’m going to have to put it on an inactive site to figure out the configuration first.
Otherwise, it looks great. Very easy to install and set up, except for a few minor instructions needed.
Thanks,
Kalidasa
